GODDESS OF THE MONTH PERSEPHONE

PERSEPHONE (goddess of grain and fertility, queen of the underworld) is the wife of HADES the cruel god of the underworld. She was captured by Hades at an early age to be Hades's wife. She can only leave the underworld for six months a year, during this time it is summer and spring.
